I've been pretty lucky, I've only had one acropora die on me and it was because I dropped it on a favia. I'm hoping to learn a lot for the heavy acropora keepers.

Trial and error for me too Mike...... I have a back yard littered will a lot of errors! I should start up my own curio shop with the amount huge dead colonies I've got.

Looks like everything is growing great, Troy you use Reef Breeders Lights correct?

On my display YES, however on the frag tank I use T5/MH combo. The DT has 2-18" value fixtures and a single 48" photon. I also supplement with 2-36" Hamilton Aruba fixtures on the DT. I did swap out most of the LEDs on the value fixtures with a NM range that better suited my needs. Particularly in the 400nm, 415nm, 430nm, 450nm and lower kelvin temps <6000.

Can you babysit my palys for a couple of weeks? I think they need your special touch. They are growing very slowly. LOL

Yours are looking fantastic.

Thank you!

Only certain Palys do well for me, others will just wither away. I just got lucky this time. As for the Acro I've moved it all around the frag tank to see if I can get better color/growth. It seems to like indirect light and a lot of flow.

Yea I have mine off to the side of the tank and next to the mp-40 but I will leave it alone until it encrusts the plug then move it to more light and see what happens.
