Hey Reefers!

The original hotel is booked and sold out. We have now arranged a new block at the neighboring Omni Shoreham.

To reserve your space in the new block before it fills, call 1-800-THE-OMNI (reservations hot line) and refer to the “MACNA Conference – Overflow” group in order to receive MACNA's $124/night rate.

You may also use this link to make your reservations: http://www.omnihotel...erence-overflow (http://www.omnihotels.com/hotels/washington-dc-shoreham/meetings/macna-conference-overflow)

Call now and reserve your room as this rate is only available for reservations made through August 13!

Don't wait and miss out!

Just a reminder, MACNA 2015 is less than two weeks away!!! Hope your as excited as we are. I also wanted to remind everyone of the great show we have lined up for you...the speakers (https://macnaconference.org/2015/speakers/), the vendors (https://macnaconference.org/2015/exhibitors-and-sponsors/exhibitors/), and the raffles (https://macnaconference.org/2015/contact-us/prizes/)! We also added a reservation block at the Omni Hotel because the Marriott sold out. Check out the last minute discounts here (https://macnaconference.org/2015/travel/hotel-discounts/). And remember to check out ParkingPanda (https://www.parkingpanda.com/macna-dc-parking/packages) for parking packages. Hope to see lots of Texans representing!!!

I will be there!!! Definitely excited to get to go this year, just bummed out because I think I can only go for 2 days, and I am not sure about how I would bring back any livestock.... But excited for the speakers and to see all the vendors and new products. Thanks for posting updates on here

I might be interested in shipping back to Austin. Will there be a booth or table set up for getting this arranged?

Jim,

How do you plan on packing them in your checked baggage? I don't leave until mid day Monday, so I don't know if I should risk the corals being bagged that long.

I leave sunday at 5:35 pm, so just gonna grab them at the last minute from the vendors. I have a small semi-rigid insulated lunch box and some rigid plastic sample jars. If I were going to have to keep them overnight I guess I would pick them up as late as possible sunday and take a bucket and a heater and float them in their bags overnight in the bucket with tapwater. I think if you are taking an early flight its not much different than 24 hour shipping.
