CGOC 14' Official Photo Judging Thread

Coral Grow Out Contest '14 participants please post the final photos of your frags that you wish to submit for judging here in this thread.
Keep in mind that these are the photos that our judges will be viewing to make their determination on the 3 winners for each category.
They need to be as clear and with as much detail as possible. Also keep lighting in mind if your lights are adjustable so that the photos are not totally saturated by actinic lighting. In other words take as good a picture as you can given the equipment that you have to work with :bigsmile:

The deadline for these photos has been extended to March 1st by 1:00 PM. The contest is closed come March 1st and in the hands of our esteemed judging panel.

Looking great, it is amazing how well fragging works in our hobby saving a bunch of wild grown being taken from the ocean. In years past it was normal for aquarist to want colonies, but today frags rule, plus it is like growing your own garden, versus HEB.

This acro is really starting to get good color (forgive the poor photography :) ). Love the polyp extension it's had! Its grown well both in length (left to right) and girth across the plug (top to bottom).

It colored up nicely and polyp extension is very prominent!

My additions:

The best grower for me has to be the SPS. This guy really encrusted and is showing some truly amazing colors in my frag tank. I had to take several shots of it. The thing is almost encrusting over its plug.

My AOG is at 31 fully formed heads. Amazing growth! I have marked the heads in the 2 pictures. The 2nd picture is the 1st pictured with the frag turned around. The circled polyps are the same polyps in the 2 pictures.

Update.... I'm up to 18 heads on the zoa. It was hard getting a good picture because of the glare of the light. Unsure of the exact head count of the flowerpot. Lights turned off before I remembered to get count.
