Hello MAAST

Due to the resignation of our former President and one of our current BOD being voted into the vacant VP position there is now an opening for one new member of the Board of Directors. The position is open to those that are current Charter members in good standing & who want to help MAAST grow and excel. Please nominate any charter member(s)whom you feel would be willing to work hard and take on an active roll as a member of the Board of Directors. Charter members please feel free to also nominate yourselves! If you have been nominated please accept or decline your nomination in this thread.

Nominations are open until Friday evening February 13th when we will open up the voting thread.

I would love to help but I am unsure about the availability of me making enough meetings. I work a rotating schedule from days to nights and we have been working one Saturday a month lately. I would like to volunteer my time again though. I just am unsure how much time I will have.

We highly encourage all of the BOD members to make the monthly meetings but realize that it is unlikely for everyone to make every meeting. If a BOD misses 3 consecutive meetings then they are to be under review for removal from the BOD.

I would like to accept the nomination. I have a few ideas To try and promote more activity. I have previously served on the bod, mod and as event coordinator. I've been reefing now for 7 years I believe. Wow time flies. Haha. I've seen maast go through some tough times but it always seems to rebound and hoping we can work together to make it fun and educational for everyone.
