What's the best way to get good iPhone pictures? Mine always turn out super blue. To the eye I would say my lights are running about 12k. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Is there a app I should buy to help? I was trying to snap a few shots for this photo contest but I got nothing. Haha

Iphone cameras by nature are terrible at shooting reef lighting stock, however if you add a red gel filter over the lens it makes photos look pretty good.

I hate all cell phone pics but when im in a hurry I use a app named manual camera.
It let u select iso, shutter speed and different white balances.... I think I paid $1.99

Not perfect or the best but a better image imo

Im sure with a little more time I could get a better image or teamed with a gel filter would help.

These are two small shrooms I took with my first couple shots with that app. I think it will work out nice as I didn't spend much time shooting these.
Edit- the shroom colors are pretty spot on but the second is pretty blurry I see.

Change the kelvin to 10k
And iso as far down as it can go..
Keep the phone stable, propped up on something...
And adjust shutter speed until looks somewhat accurate... The lower the shutter speed the more the phone and image has to be stable....

Getting better. I moved my shrooms into a mesh box so they wouldn't float away or I would have snapped more shots of them.
