Bought a couple head Duncan at Elegant Reef after last MAAST meeting.....briefly opened after a few days but shut since. Tank is a Nanocube with Panorama Pro lights. Coral is on bottom of tank, other corals doing well....GSP,Zoas,Frogspawn along with 2Clownfish and Peppermint Shrimp
Any ideas?

Duncan coral usually takes a week or longer to acclimate and fully extend. If it's not losing any tissue them it is fine. I would move it to lower light and moderate flow and give it a few days.

Any way you could raise the lights further for a few days and redirect the flow?

Try and keep it in the same flow as the frogspawn. My Duncan's were hardier than my hammers when I had my nutrient spike so I doubt it's your nitrates or phosphates. It's always good to test though.

I had the same problem with mine last month. They were the only ones that did not want to open. Don't do anything to your tank for about a week or so if you feel everything else is in check. I introduced a new frag rack in my tank and it appeared that the rack introduced something into my tank that the Duncan's did not like. I took the rack out and let my filters do the rest. The Duncan's opened up after about a week or so and have been doing fine since.
