Good evening MAAST members!
It's with great pleasure that I announce the 2015 Board of Directors committees as well as the board members who will be assisting in each of them. If you are a charter member and would like to assist in any of these aspects of the club, please feel free to message myself of any board of director and we'd love to have you on board.
In the past, each committee was typically assigned one board member and one charter member volunteer, however as we hope to expand in 2015 we have opened that up to multiple board members as well as however many charter member that the committee chair requests.
Without any further ado, let's get down to it!
Meetings Committee: Assist in planning meetings, topics, speakers, as well as food, door prizes, and raffle items: clownfitch
Events Coordinator: Coordinating with the meetings committee to plan meetings, as well as planning the two frag swaps, holiday socials, and other Maast events: lizf
Sponsorship Committee: coordinate with our current sponsors to ensure the club is fulfilling its duties, acquire new sponsors and retain current ones and put out the Sponsor Sit and Talks. nanoreefer11, jrsaxt and BlueKoran91 will assist
Newsletter Committee: Assist in distribution of the MAAST newsletter and its online circulation Southernflame, jndragon will assist
Marketing Committee: Assists the growth of the club through fliers, business cards, social media. This committee also will order t shirts for giveaways and will help promote Maast events/ meetings.
jndragon, nanoreefer11 will assist
Educational Committee: assists with educating newer members of the club as well as providing useful info and write ups for all of our members.

Picture of the Month Committee:
Picks a topic and sets the dates for voting and also announces the monthly winner via a Maast vote.

Contest Committee: Creates rules and prizes for our yearly Maast grow out contest as well as other contests we will have.

Tank of the Month: Will find and document one tank a month that they determine to be the "Tank of the Month" as well as creating a showcase piece to be posted to the Maast home page.
Cammed_02, cowboy572 will assist.
I look forward to any volunteer help we can get with these as we have a ton of work to do this year to ensure the growth of our club this year!
