Friends and fellow aquarist. I am on the down hill side of getting approval to set up a tank at Kitty Hawk Jr High School. Ideally I would have like to do this at a high school, but because Kitty Hawk is across the street from me this will make things extremely easy. So as I have noticed a decline in our hobby, I wanted to do something about this. I have been in contact with the administration of the school who are very excited about my proposal.
I'd like to set up a tank, possibly 2 in the science dept. I have volunteered to setup and maintain this tank, while teaching mainly 7th and 8th graders about the parameters and maintenance of a tank, incorporating it in to their class room activities.
This is where you guys come in. I would be looking for donated equipment and/or frags or fish. I have many things, but would need some help. This is all on my dime and I'll need help. Please let me know if u have anything you would like to donate to the cause! I appreciate all the help I can get guys!
