Check out reef cleaners packages. Affordable but I'd recommend a smaller size as John sends a ton of extras.

I like ceriths for snails and want to try some trochus. I tried to get away from hermits this time but now have 150 blue leg/random hermits.

Oh and +1 for reef cleaners. They've been a longtime sponsor here and always hook you up on snails.

I tried to go with an all snail crew for 6 months but they barely clean anything. I added hermits and they have been mowing down all algae. Tiny blue leg hermits are great but you need a ton of them. I also added the larger red legged ones and they do a really good job. IMO go with sand sifting nassarius snails and a lot of hermit crabs. You can also add some margarita, turbo, trochus, nassarius and cerith snails. Stay away from astreas. They die easily. People say hermits and snails don't get along. Mine have been doing fine.

Don't add too many CUC all at once because there may not be enough algae/food and if too many die at once you can shock your system. Add a bunch at a time and add more if you see more algae.

Check out Zephyr Aquatics on Eckhert and Bandera. They have better prices than online and JJ gives good advice. Right now they are running specials on CUC. I just got 6 emerald crabs for $20!
