Chalice receding

I purchased a Hollywood Stunner frag about three weeks ago. In the last four days it completely receded back as did a hammer coral. Anyone have this problem before.? This is going on in a 29 Biocube

Sorry for the lack of information I'm having the water tested today and can repost.

Temp has been steady at 79
salinity 1.024
nitrate around 20 ppm

I'm going to guess high nitrates. Should be under 10. It could also be a calcium/ Alk issue. The water test should tell the story.

Start doing some water change for now

Guys thank you, looks to be the salinity. 1.030. My hydrometer was way off.

Oh yeah those hydrometers are not good. Get yourself a refractometer. They are way more accurate.
