The Frag Swap is scheduled for March 8, 2015. :bighug:

Schertz Community Center

Its time to get your frags and any equipment you have lying around for our annual frag swap. Reefers can bring their propagated corals, fragged from their own tanks, to either trade or sell at this event.

Vendor Setup Arrival 10am

Member Arrival 1pm- 4pm.

Schedule of Events:

Facility Open- 9:30am-
BOD Arrival 9:30am
Table Setups 10am-12:00pm
Lunch 1-2pm
Event 1pm-4pm
Cleanup Begins 3:30pm-4pm-Event Finished



**Entry Fees:Charter members and Sponsors +1 guest = Free
Web Members and Non-sponsors = $5 per person

**Table Fees (only if you are selling)

Charter members and current Sponsors - Free
Web members - $5.00
Non-sponsors - $50.00

A Charter Member has asked about the MAAST frag tank.

We will be setting up the club's frag tank to hold a few of the prizes we are giving out. Charter Members are encouraged and welcomed to bring in frags of their own to trade/ sell and can use the club's tank to hold them in. If you bring in some frags you will need to tend to them or make arrangements for someone else to tend to them if you want to visit the room and eat, etc.. Since there is a possibility that there will be more frags than space on the racks for them, please bring your frags in bags marked with the type of coral and cost in the event they may have to remain in the bag.

Also, we will have enough room on the MAAST table(s) for Charter Members to bring in used equipment etc.. that you may want to trade/ sell but again you are responsible for tending to them.

Of course members other than Charter Members are welcomed to bring in frags and used equipment to sell/ trade but will be subject to the table fees as posted in the opening post of this thread and will need to bring their frag tanks etc..

Just a friendly reminder to sellers, table spots will be picked by sellers in the order they arrive, also, we will try bring a few extra heaters pumps and extension cords but sellers are encouraged to bring their own and any backups! Can't wait to see the frag tanks yall come up with :)

Thank you to all of the sponsors and vendors who took time out of your busy schedules to set up booths to give all of us coral junkies something to buy! We really appreciate your support!

Thank you to everyone who attended the swap. I enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing all of the familiar friendly faces. With out all of you guys we wouldn't have MAAST. Thank you very much for coming out and supporting the club!

I saw that clam transaction and I have to say I'm a little jealous I didn't get in on that. Both of you guys scored on some awesome clams!!! What else did everyone score on from the Swap. I challenge everyone to post their "loot" on this thread.
