DIY Kalkwasser Dripper?

Anyone use one and how do you use it?

Example: do you drip say a gallon of RODI water overnight w one teaspoon for kalkwasser, check level next morning and adjust?

I made one out of a 1 gallon water jug and a air valve im not sure if its what your looking for but it does the job for me
