Deep Blue 35G cube build

I figured that since MAAST as been slow I would start my 35G cube build. It's going to be a slow build. Right now my wife is building the stand. Don't ask why I'm not doing it she insisted that she does it so I don't break anything. But the stand is going to be 42" length 21" width 36" height. The tank is 20x20x20. She's building it way longer than the tank so I can fit my 20 long sump into the stand and have room for other equipment. She doesn't want a canopy on it and wants to use a glass top. My question is can my led's sit on the glass top or should I hang them somehow? I will be adding pics and more details as things come along.

Congratulations on the new build.
LEDs put off a lot of heat that a glass top would radiate. You will definitely want to suspend the lights.

That's what I thought even with the fans on top I could feel the heat coming off the led's
