I just lost a wild caught true perc I had for about 3 years. The thing I'm wondering is can you pair up a true perc with another type of clownfish?

I think A.Ocellaris is the only other type that they will pair with. That's a good question for Me.Cobb

I'm hoping he chimes in. I'd like to do a snowflake clownfish to pair with my true perc.

True and false Percs can pair and breed. Idk the likelihood but it can be done.

Ocellaris and percula clownfish are the most common of the hybrid pairings. If you can get them to take to one another then yes they can pair and breed.

The September/October Issue of Coral Magazine has an article about all current species & hybrid species of designer clowns. They even have a convenient table showing how each variant looks and listing what they are crossed between. It may not be a bad idea to pick up a copy if your wanting to do an out of the norm pairing with yours.
