Egg crate frag rack

I am going to try my hand at making a frag rack from eggcrate today. Just something large enough to hold 10 or 15 frags. Will you all please post a photo or give some advice on how to build one that can hang on the side of the tank? Thank you!

Wish I could help but I've never built one to hang on the side.

Me either. I don't want it to just sit on the sand bed but it also isn't permanent either so just something to hold some forage for a week or two

I made my eggcrate rack hang from my overflow. Its pretty sturdy for just being eggcrate and zipties. I will get some pics up soon.

I originally had the egg crate attached to a magnet on the side of tank like yours. I needed something a little larger plus they get better light in this location.

Anytime Dean. I used the oceans wonders racks fer years, which is also just egg crate glued to magnets, till I found the wet acrylic racks.

Oh, ya i did one like cammed_02 and it held up.

And yes they get way better light positioned there....
