Hello MAAST
There is an opening for a highly motivated volunteer in the form of Events Coordinator. We are in dire need for someone to help out the Meetings Committee with coordinating our monthly meetings and upcoming events. If you are a interested and have some time to spare please let us know!

I think I misread this the first time Justin. Are you asking what the events coordinator would be doing?

Planning the monthly meetings as well as events along with input from the BOD. Contacting speakers for the monthly meeting, reserving venues, food planning, etc... The position will take a significant amount of work upfront to get caught up but these can be planned out way in advance so the work load would be much less significant once we get at least a few months ahead. It would give the volunteer an opportunity to personally contact people such as the SeaWorld coral propagation director to Randy Holmes- Farley, Jason Fox, etc.. if you were to get so ambitious.
