A fellow reefer was asking me today where I get my frag plugs from, so I thought I should share. This is the 3rd time I have ordered from coralplugs.com and I have always been very happy. They ship right away and I get them in 2 days by priority mail. Prices are cheap: $4 for 25. They have both frag plugs, and frag tiles. They also has different sized frag domes that are perfect for zoa gardens: you can stick your plug into the dome and let the zoas grow and cover the dome.
They are nothing fancy; cheap aragonite sand + cement, but that's all you need. According to their website, they cure all plugs in RO water for 2 weeks before they ship. But I always err on the side of cautioun: I let the plugs sit in RO water in a bucket for a week, and then rinse them off before I introduce them to my tank. And I usually don't introduce more than 6 - 8 plugs at a time.
