Hmmm.... idk how I feel about this... on one hand, looks great, but would it affect the clown swimming in a high flow environment?

It possibly could, there are flow restrictions for certain strains of long fin goldfish

Exactly.... the long fin clownfish are definitely bad swimmers and hatcheries that are breeding them even state so. This is almost without a doubt why you would most likely not find a wild caught one. They will be best for Nanos and low flow systems.

Still pretty cool fish once we can get past nemo. Lol

I heard a recent interview from the owner of the 2 Chris posted below from MACNA. He mentioned that if they can produce enough by market time that they are aiming for $100-$200 retail.

Good to see clownfish breeding at its best but the pricing will eventually come down like all the other strains out there. I remember when misbars and naked clowns were culled out and now they command a higher price than a true perc. To be successful long term the breeders need to reach the masses at a lower price point. It's good that you can now find snowflakes, platinums, Picasso, and wyomings at most LFS and even Petco at reasonable prices.
