I picked up a 15g column with 2 clowns a week ago. There is a clown about 1.5" and the other is 2". The smaller clown is chasing the bigger one down. Its not causing any damage at all though. The bigger will do its submissive seizure thing and sometimes the smaller one will do it back. They don't sleep together. The small one seems to go after the big one if its not staying at its side. I have no clue on the history of these clowns. Is it possible I have 2 females? Would I be better just separating them and getting a juvenile to put with the larger one?
