Reef can be too clean . My current tank process is and ULNS . As long the corals get nutrients they do ok . Melting em could possibly be light factor . Too strong light could also result in melting zoas and other Lps

I'm having the same issue in my biocube right now with just pc's. Parameters all good also. I have tried everything to turn it around with no luck. Some colonies are growing like crazy. Others are melting just as fast. It really sucks watching it happen. I am thinking I may start dosing Vitamin C again.

I reduced the frequency of my water changes and have seen an improvement in polyp extension, color, and growth from my SPS. I have around 20 fish including 3 large tangs in a 144 half circle tank. I skim wet and feed once a day (medium amount).
How long has tank been up?
You can definitely run a reef too clean, and for a long time (many years) I ran mine with very low nutrients. I guess out if laziness I cut down on my maintenance routine and things actually improved.

Yea I feel you may be running to clean. My tank is 180+40 sump and I change 40gal once a month. And my coral polyp extentions are fantastic. Everything is thriving. I have 11 fish and I feed daily. I personally feel like my sps look better with nitrates at 10.

I had the same problem with my Xenia, they starters to melt away. Reduced my WC to every other week and they started to come back. With zoa's I've also had this happen over the years, some stay great and some just melted away. still have no idea why
