So I just noticed that my sea urchin was in the same spot as yesterday so I moved him and he's barely moving. Does this mean he's dying? Should I take it out in case it is? Do they release toxins if they dye?

Sea Urchins are generally slow movers and will not move until the spot they're on is completely devoid of life. Mine barely moves, especially during the day, but I can always follow the path of clean rock he leaves to know he is doing fine. As far as I know, they do not release toxins when they die.

Ya they are. However I flipped this one over when I first posted and it's not moving. Mine also right them selves. Just wasn't sure if I should take it out or let it be and die

If he is in a 90 gallon tank it should not be a problem. Just watch closely and if it starts to drop spines and dies, then take him out. I do not think it would overload your biofilter if it dies.
