I had a tank resealed by Forever pets, I'm cycling the tank and am noticing the tank has white slimy film covering the silicone. I'd assume they used the right type of silicone. It's only on the silicone. As a note the tank dried a month before water was put in it. I'm lost, any help would be appreciated.

Ya I did. toy said he had no idea. It has cured way longer than a month. I'm going to keep an eye on it. It's just frustrating since I've had to take the tank back twice to him with issues... The frustrating part is I live in corpus.

Wife has a used 90 bowfront and we have been watching it for a while now. We allways like to watch how the tank responds to the sw stress before stocking.
Be patient with it. Keep an eye on it until your confidence grows with it. I would think it would be fine if it cured for a long time and have a center brace so it doesnt bow.

Ya it has a center brace. I'm not worried of the integrity. Just concerned with this white stuff being ok for the fiah
