LRS reef frenzy

Finally got my hands on this stuff and I'm not impressed... I seriously placed a good sized chunk in a cup of tank water like i do all my frozen food to defrost... After about a good 20 minutes I poured it into my tank and it was still in a chunk... Not frozen but just clumped like cubed squid.... Its about the best i can compare it to.

It didnt look like a lot of different types of food, like rods foods. Tangs picked at the glob until it hit the mp40 and shredded up into a bunch of pieces...

Idk, i was expecting better than RODs or at least similar..... Rods has a bunch of particle foods as well which my corals respond well to.... This stuff didnt seem to have much of anything...

Is like it but it does clump like that. I take a turkey baster and suck it up he blast it out several times to break it up. After that, it's good to go. The thing I like about it over rod's is it seems much fresher. I am a big fan of rod's too though.

I tried the herbivore blend and my fish picked a lil at it but didn't really take to it. same issues with nothing but big chunks. still have a full bag in freezer of it

Ya... Im still going to use it, i like to give my fish a big variety.... Just dont see it as a aio food....

I took a video..... Jabbing at it with my finger it stays in a clump... While rods just need a little shake to break up

I use that with a mixture of PE mysis. I chop it up with a knife before I thaw it out. Cause I too noticed that it did not break up once thawed.

Man, I wish we had a "blue hour" around here like hbo and Cinemax.

I'm not a fan of Mr Larry's food either. Like you said its clumpy and my fish will nibble at it. I paid for it and will use it in a rotation, but once it's gone I'm going back to trusty old rods.
