its been like this for 2 days now. thing is, a large piece broke off about 4 days ago and on top of that, my other trees are doing fine.

they auto frag and gets to be a pain in the butt when you find new ones popping up everywhere, also they are leathers so they will close up for many reasons. always do a decent water and see if that helps, if not check your water parameters, ph, alk, phos, nitrates

Looks like you have some some hair algae growth. Should take care of that before it gets out of control. I had to battle it at one time and it was no fun

I had a sea hare a few months ago because I had a horrible HA problem. What's the best way to nick it in the butt before it gets too bad?

Scrub rocks, sea hare, remove nitrates and reduce lights and feeding,water change not in that order

It's normal don't worry about it. Don't give it a lot of flow. In 3 months you'll have 50 of them.

thats what i was thinking. my lights def need to be replaced. its just a chunk to replace all 4 right now...
