Anyone know how to mess with a :Spec: LED Light Fixture.. The blue lights stopped working after we moved it from the chair to the tank. Its been like that for a while, but im ready to have some blue in my tank again..

Its a good fixture. I just want it to work..

Here is a pic of the actual fixture... (NOT MY PIC)

Apparently the whites and blues are 2 separate channels. If an LED burns out for some reason it will knock the whole channel out. Usually the LEDS are soldered to a circuit board in these fixtures which is then attached to a heat sink. You have to take the fixture apart and get a continuity checker and check each LED in the string to see if it is burnt out. Remove the solder from the contacts of the burnt out LED with a solder gun and pull the LED off but be careful not to damage the circuit board. Replace with a new LED and solder in place. I have a few spare blue LEDs if you find one burnt out I also have a continuity check you could borrow only cause I know you and your spouse. It could also be the driver for that channel. If the driver is burnt out find one with the same specs and replace it but a driver would cost half of what a new fixture is. Is this a Chinese fixture ? I had one that looked a lot like it without the SPEC on it.
