So I introduced one of these about 3 to 4 months ago into my tank and it has stayed hiden ever since. I see it come out when I feed the fish but it drats right back into the rocks. Is there a way to make it less shy?

Not really, unfortunately they are a shy species. You can try using dither fish, fish that are small peaceful open water species, if you have the room, as a means to make the firefish feel comfortable enough to venture out, but this does not always work...

Thank you. I believe it has somthing to do with my sixline also. He's a big meany and always chases new fish but the wife loves him.

Sixlines are the devil! Before I saw that you said you had a sixline I was going to suggest adding a second firefish. They do well in pairs. But the sixline explains it. They have a Napoleon complex!

i know. He messed with the chromis and the strawberry I got from you but has left those alone now. I think the firefish is just scared to come out still. I might have to catch the sixline if I can
