Can't tell in the pic. But from what I understand. If the front dorsal fin is spiked that is a make. If it's rounded like a half circle it's female

That's a lady fish you have there. You can always lift their tail and check there too.

Yeah, the beast was correct. Wish I would have known that back in 1995 when a less than honest store owner sold me a mated pair that turned out to be two dudes.
