Well I'm up and running on my new tank, Nuvo 16g, it came in yesterday. Here is what I have done so far. Setup the equipment, scaped the rock and added the water now for the patient journey of cycling. BLAH oh well patience.
I hope my pic got attached.

I would get the bioload started with a shrimp first. Toss it through a big cycle.
180gal + 30gal sump with an awesome wave.

For sure, cycle your tank before adding a fish. You can add fish food or a piece of shrimp then wait for ammonia and nitrite to get to zero.
Nice aquascape! That rock work came out perfect for that tank.

Lmao I wish that I cared that much. I literally just dumped my rock in, spread it out and was like "yup looks good lets add water" lol

Ha ha. I don't want to disturb the tank once it is up. Last time I rescaped once it was all cycled and up for a while I stirred up the sand and I released hydrogen sulfide that killed the fish. :( bad on my part so now I set it to where I love it and forget ever scaping again.

Nice setup... I'm considering either IM nuvo 30 cube or 30 fission ... Great debate

Ok one month since cycle started zero ammonia and zero nitrite .25 nitrate and working on it as well. Here is my one and only fish to live in this tank. Transferred over yesterday from a buddy who was holding my live stock. The rest will be zoos and Ricordia and maybe a small clam. I need to find a good center piece coral to place in the center if not a clam. Any recommendations for a nano center piece?
Goal is to turn it into a zoo and Ricordia garden.
