*Sold*

I bought this sump and eventually never used it for my setup. The sump itself is a Life Reef Model but not quite sure what model it is. I originally purchased it used from an LFS in town but never set it up and forgot to return it. The dimensions of the sump are:
23 5/8" x 13" x 14"
Willing to part with it for $50

one the first picture could you explain left to right what each chamber is for. the first chamber being the one with what looks like sock holders and those tube with ball valves.

It is actually backwards in the first photo with the black top configured in the wrong direction. Water flows into the chamber on the right where your skimmer will go and flows down through the black crate where the sponge rests. From there it goes into the return chamber which also houses the tubes, probe holders.....You basically create a t section from the return line to feed the tubes. As you can see you can set the flow of the tubes using the gate valves and store any filter material you want in them with GFO and Carbon being the most common. The unique thing about this setup is that if you need to change your media, you just turn off the gate, undo the union valve and lift the tube straight out of the sump. Kind of similar to a BRS dual reactor except you don't need to mess with a RO plumbing and screwing the canister off. Just lift the tube out and replace the media.

Yes, you can put carbon, gfo...really anything that doesn't need to tumble in it. I never really used it but looking at the design, it warrants that use. Cool man. I can do tomorrow. Let me know a time and place via PM
