Coral spawn?

Has anyone had a coral spawning event? It looks like I had one last night or this morning. There's tiny tan/brown/pink balls all over the sand bed. They're about 1/8" or so. If you have had this happen, did any survive? I'm going to try to take a picture.

They looks more yellow colored outside of the tank and break apart real easily:
