Anyone able to make an overflow similar to reef savvy ghost overflow? For a 40 breeder? Yes I'm back but on a snake scale Thanks to my divorce the 340 in wall is gone :(

Fixed the title for you.
I remember hearing about this design, but I'm not sure I know exactly what it is.

Looks great man. That will save plenty of valuable room in your 40b.

Well, it's on there anyway. I'm still short two 1" bulkheads and 2 gaskets to complete the overflow.

As for the stand I plan on having a small maybe 18x18x10 frag tank to the side of the 40B. The underneath will house the sump I plan to build and my ATO and maybe a shelf for stuff. I'm no Carpenter so I only have the frame done for now. The skin I haven't decided on our how I'm going to have access to the front or side.

That stand will be great. I wish I would have built mine with more room.

Looks great! I thought about doing the ghost overflow on my temp 40g breeder, but figured the time i would spend making the overflow I could spend on the 240g so i nixed it. Subscribed!

Well Felix and those boys do amazing work there's no doubt about that but the cost of the tanks and the cost of the overflow when I already have the ability to work acrylic myself I save a ton of money. I plan to get another 340g eventually but that'll come later.

Looks great. Is there anything supporting the external overflow other than the bulkheads?
Felix is a good guy. He'll talk to you for hours if you let him, even if you are not his customer.
Do you have plans you are following for your CNC? I have a small 7"x11" that I just got the software sorted out on. After I make some stuff and learn a bit more about it, I am going to use it to build a bigger gantry. Then I'm getting longer ball screws and extending the work area. Undoubtedly upgrading the stepper motors and spindle too. I get to play with one at work, but it's proprietary software. This one I'm running off Mach3.

The bulkheads support it to the tank but in traditional bean style I'll be supporting the drain lines as well.
My cnc plans are just that at the moment, plans. Once the tank is up and going I'm going to dig deeper into it. I'm going for a 24x24 working surface if I can.
