I have to decide if I'm going to replace or repair a sicce pump - it's rattling and has gotten loud.
I could replace the impeller and cross my fingers that it does the trick, but I can't find a lot of info from long term users to see if it's worth the trouble. (Anyone here had one 5+ years?)
I can replace it for not much more than the cost of an impeller. Or I can look at a different pump altogether... Eheims are sturdy but I've never used their submersibles.
Any other recommendations?
At this point, my main concern is volume. I need it to be QUIET. I don't want to go so far as to say price is not an issue... But a good nights sleep is worth a lot.
