He's actually in the sump now. I'll give it a few days before hauling him off to the LFS.

Ben If we could figure out how to put him in with another purple tang and yellow eye tang I would do it.
They would be in a 7ft 210 but they would probably go after each other. probably not a good idea.
2 purples in same tank would be awesome but not possible.

That wouldn't end well for one of the purple tangs. Lol.

I've gotten some interest. One of the offers won't work until this weekend. Looks promising though. I still hate swing this guy in the sump. Funny enough, he doesn't seem to mind too much.

I currently have two purple tangs and a few other tangs (Desjardin, yellow, sohal, hippo,2 sailfins and a scopas) in my 7'x2'x2'. They all seem to doing fine with each. Tangs goodness it can be done😁 or maybe I just got lucky. Lots of open room above my z&p garden and feed twice a day!

The bigger one was in the tank about a yr ahead of introducing the second one. I have other variety of tangs in there of different sizes and different intro date...lots of hiding places and all learn to live with each other over time...keep them well fed (nori sheet in the morning n frozen at night)

I added a sohal a few month ago and he is better behaved than I expected too! He one of my all time fav.
