So I'm picking up a brand new 90 gallon tank tomorrow. I plan on ordering some bulk dry rock from Florida. Its going to be a fish only tank, but I don't want to add any substrate for easy of cleaning. What are my options to secure the rock in place and not crack the bottom glass? Black plexi glass?

A lot people use HDPE board, you can get them From Regal Plastic.

You can also using some type of epoxy and sand to cover the board. You'll get the natural looks and easy cleaning at the same time.

Make sure to have a 1/4 gap all around, and then fill it with black silicone.

Do you think it's safe to go bare bottom? Maybe just paint the underside of the tank?
