Anyone used these before? I really want Ecotech MP-40ES but it cost so much. I guess these are "knock off".http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/21/unynugyp.jpg

Think they are more of a tunze knock off.. After all the majority of the pump is in the tank... Its like putting a small nerf football in your tank, not sleek like the Ecotechs...

But i hear they are working great.... And move alot of water.....

Personally i will stick with ecotech but if i had to, i would use one of these or the smaller models...

What size tank are you putting it in? I have a wp-25 in my 72 bowfront and it moves a good amount of water. I have a good size wave across the top of the waterline!

I have a 120G, using a WP 40 and produces strong current. My setting is on 'else' minimum power.

I have had the wp40 on my 125 and it makes awesome waves. My only complaint is it kind if wigged out on me after 7months use now it does not do the night settings like it use to. But I have found the controler on ebay for $25.00.

I have a WP-40 on my 90, it's too much pump...I would do 2 WP-25s, if I was starting all over.

OUCH!

Do you have 2 WP-25s? That would be the route I would go if I swapped out the WP-40.
