Yet another LED comparison

So I have a 29 biocube and I'm on the fence on what LED kit to get. Steves led retrofit or aquastyleonline 36 DIY kit. Steves is about 100 dollars more but I know the led quality is better. Anyone have any experience with aquastyle? Can I still grow SPS with it? Thoughts??

No experence with those brands but I fitted my 29 gallon biocube with my 14 gallon LED kit fromRapid LED. I didn’t want to buy a wholenew setup since I wasn’t running it at full power to begin with on the 14gallon so I just used it on my 29 gallon. I’m still not running it at full power. Works great and I’m growing everything in thetank. SPS, LPS and soft corals.

Aquaatyle LEDs are about 12% less efficient than similar Cree bulbs, I had an Aquaatyle kit build thread and tank videos of my DIY leds. I loved them, zero problems

I have steve's led's on my 14g biocube and love them. I am only running them at 30% and have LPS and softies.

Don't know much about those brands but I have a buddy running the led retro kit from rapidled over his biocube. He is growing several sps that came from my tank
