wow I just replaced my DI. It seems like I just replaced last year. lol

My readings after replacing DI are 225 in then 17 RO out then 0 after DI.

I do 40 gallons sw changes on both tanks every 10 days, then of course ATO.

Im thinking I need some new membranes. any ideas lmk

Seems fast to run out of DI.

I replace di every 3 or 4 months, doing 30 gallon water changes every 2 weeks or so and topping off about 10 gallons a week.

Readings are about 227 in, 3-5 RO and 0 out.... I know the carbon and sediment need replacing when the RO gets over 7.

Do you let RO rinse for awhile being producing DI water? The RO when first turned on will climb as high as 100+ and will drop to 3-5, thats when i open the valve to the DI... If not you're killing your DI prematurely..

I noticed the spike in the beginning when turning on the water. I need to add a switch in that location. Thanks for the feedback.

Add a valve before the di and a T before that with a valve at the end... You can produce drinking water with the one or 2 gallons until the tds going into the di drops to 3-5..

good idea . . . that is when tds drops back down for drinking water, Im assuming the drinking water tds is below 10

You can drink it above 10..

I measured ozarka at about 30 tds and of course tap water is supposed to be okay at a whopping 220 in our area.. So anything under that is great imo.
