mag 3 for a lower powered return pump

i got a mag 3 today which works, but i need to downgrade to a smaller pump because the pump is a bit too strong.

What's the gph.. What size is your tank?

I believe its 500 gph. Mod number 8c99 mag 3. I have a 30 g.

you can add a valve to slowit down some, or a T-fitting to diperses some flow back to sump or adding flow to refugium.

i was able to position the spout or whatever just right to where the tank gets proper flow without blowing the fish into the side of the wall. lol...
