I've read a lot of things on them and am beginning to worry. I have about 10-15 spread throughout my 40 and some are nothing coral. I apologize if there is a recent thread open on them but I'm posting real fast from work. Has anyone fought them successfully without pulling there tank apart ? I'm about to buy a fluval spec incase I can't get it under control to protect to coral I just bought. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

hope it was helpful, im still reading up on them and someone on nano-reef dipped her rocks in vinegar than soaked in RO but to me that would make the rock no longer living and i personally wouldnt go to that extreme unless my tank was being ransacked by them

Yea there are not "everywhere" but they are stinging my toadstool and a few polyps are closed. I see one rubbing my lobo too. With the high lighting and flow it looks like I've created a good home for them lol.

I have used a shrink wrap torch that uses a bic lighter for fuel before. I usually drain the water to just below the colony and give em a couple second torching. It has allways worked for me in the past. That specific nudi is rather hard to find. I heard of a small coastal fish this is also rather fond of them but I cant remember the name of the fish.

Thank u for the info! I saw that nudi was nowhere to be found online for sale lol. If u remember that fish lmk! Lol. I'm going to try and blast it with boiling water and maybe putty. They are near sand bed in most areas so I can't lower the water and the rocks would be removed as last case scenario. Sigh! I hope it doesn't come to that lol.

I've seen something similar at the coast. On the jetties pier pilings etc... Just with out the yellow design.

Yea I saw those and got excited but they are out of stock/ out of season, I didn't sign up to be notified when they get more. My poor cabbage looks like a taco cause it's tired of getting hit by the little stingers. Imma try and syphon some out today and hopefully provide some relief till I can remove them

I've been blasting the bigger ones with boiling water. Keeping fingers crossed but it seems to be helping. The numbers look to be slowing down and dare I say declining.
