im only testing the waters, no pun intended... i just want to see whats out there.

an overflow box thats suitable for a 30g

a wet/ dry system with the bio balls suitable for a 30g

a sump with in sump skimmer

i had the above years ago when i had my 55g and it worked great! a bit of overkill, but why not, right?

i honestly dont even know if all this is needed for such a small tank with little rock, little coral, and only a few fish. right now im running a basic HOB filter and a HOB fuge. they work fine but are outdated. i would like to upgrade a bit though...

the piece that connects the overflow box and the drain box that connects the hose to the sump which allows it to hang on the tank is broke. its not that big of a deal, simple glue would fix it, but it would have been nice to know. its also missing the return pump which was suppose to be included.
