Why take a step back? The company is gone....
Even if you track down a fixture, there will be no CS if there is a problem...

I'm looking for a good t5 fixture for my 40b. Most of the lights I have found are only 4 bulbs and I want to run 6. I also don't want to drop more than 500 for a light.

$500 is a nice budget....
So many options for such a little tank.... Why t5?

I like the fact they can grow anything and I don't have to worry about over lighting my tank. If I went leds it would be hydras.

Takes more than lights to grow anything.... There is no miracle light... Water chemistry plays a bigger part then anything else IMO....
But a 6 bulb 36" t5 fixture will limit your choices.

The plumbing on the 90 is ok but having a 3 in drain is crap and the sump is worthless

If you are trying to stay on a cheap budget I bought a 250w MH Ballast/ Luminbright Pendant from Southern Flame $70/ and new lamp from Elegant Reef $50. So for $120 I have a light that grows anything on my 65. I did slap two ecoxotic stunners on the side for sunrise and sunset, but only because I had them laying around. It is not as blue as the second picture shows or seems. (IPhone Picture)
Good luck on whatever you decide, since a 40b is so shallow a 4 lamp t5 should be enough to grow anything as long as you are using ATI or Giesemann
