Thoughts on the AquaIllumination Nano on a 20 gallon?

I'm thinking of calling them soon with some of my questions (i.e mounting on a 20g tank with a rim).

What controller do I need for a 24-hour cycle? Lightning effect? Is the wireless adapter necessary?

What accessories are absolutely necessary?

I only have soft corals/mushrooms, as I'm using an older Coralife PC fixture, but I know that sooner or later LEDs will probably be the best option.

Can anyone share there experience with these lights?

20 tall or long? A tall may work but you'll for sure have shadowing in the corners, the mount only works with rimless tanks without mods. Use the older screw controller for 24 hour control. Wireless adaptor only needed for the touch controller or director. Only accessories that are necessary for 24 hour are the controllers. I'd recommend canopy mourning as the stock mount limits your potential..

I'm not a huge fan of the current isa light, especially if your spending that much, you'd be doing yourself a disservice from getting an AI light.. many a used ai nanos can be found online in the region of 150-200. I just sold one recently for 150

So 20 tall, why not just pick up one of the ai sol on here for 150 bucks that Randy just put up? you won't find a better light than that for the price and it'd suit you for a future tank also,
