Just wanted to update on my Mantis shrimps. I have had my female a little over 6 months and my male about 3. My female was maybe 1in when I got her and she has grown so much!! UPDATE!!!!!
So today my mantis' were put together in a holding tank so i could clean and level out the sand in their main tank and I would like to share with you all what happened. I think the photos will explain....I'll be posting updates along this journey :)2373523736237372373823739

Thanks. I've always thought about getting one. I had a green one that was a hitchhiker in some liverock when I lived in Florida. It ended up being the main attraction in my tank. After a few months I donated it to a local store because it about wiped out my cuc.

Yea they like snails/hermits. You could always get a smaller species like a Smithii for a nano tank

I love mine. They have such awesome personalities and they're so much fun to watch!! My female actually eats from my hand which is amazing!

Super Sweet! Ive been keeping stomatopods for over 10yrs and have never had the stones to try and breed them! Great job! Does this mean that we have grandkids since i provided the stud? ;)

Sad to report that Remi tossed her eggs out. I sucked some up and put them in a cup to see what will happen.....guess it's back to the drawing board 😰
