looking for protein skimmer

Looking for a protein Skimmer for my 40 breeder, preferably hang on back since I only have small 10 gallon sump for now. Looking for cheap to get me by until 40 breeder turns into sump when i get bigger tank. Let me know what you got thanks

Have you water tested the sump with backflow yet? I found no matter what design I tried, I couldn't get a 10 gallon to hold all the water once my pumps lost power and it back siphoned into the sump, just my .02 but I'd reccomend a 20l.

Do need bigger sump but limited with stand I built. Upgrade is in near future. If I loose siphon I'm screwed, but hey its only about 6 gallons lol

What sort of room do you have under the stand to work with? I have a few tanks in the garage.
