Hey returning and new bod members. I didn't want to hijack Ben's thread so I started my own for some upcoming bod topics this year.

1) In an effort to redirect this club back to an educational based group, I'd suggest you see if some of the older members with years and years of reefing know how could come back. Maybe not for a day to day post count, but perhaps a weekly discussion. Guys like ping, solid, stoneroller, Troy, Leila, bstreep, green mako, were inspirational when I first joined and I'd love to see them post here again.
2) Recognize member milestones like birthdays and club join date anniversaries. Maybe not individual bdays or club anniversaries, but maybe a monthly post for these dates?
3) Recognize and highlight 1 sponsor a month. They could provide a bio of their company and give us more insight into their operations. Plus it gives them more exposure and bang for their annual sponsorship dues.

PS...not sure when my title will be changed back to charter member, but this thread is not meant to bash or voice angry insults at our elected officials. So please refrain from topics that could derail this discussion.

I like all these ideas. Maybe even a q and a with old members about their experiences and what tips and tricks they've learned.

Was not sure if I should post here or start a new so I posted here. I would like to see the following start up again, coral growth contest, The TOTM and POTM, frag exchange program.

We have considered doing the coral growth contest again. Unfortunately it's priority has been pushed slightly as to focus on more pressing matters. Look for a return though.

The frag exchange program still has some activity but considerably less than it did. I helped clean up the program last year but saw very little involvement.
