It looks like I am making the switch to led's from MH/T5's. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a light sequence and percent power to introduce the lights to the tank.

Use the acclimatization mode for sure. Intensities depend on your corals and color preference

My lights are about 10-12" awl and my whites are only at 15%... Blues around 70, reds and green at about 30... They have been on my tank since a little after release...

I like the look and everything is happy... I was using caribbean mode but just recently switched to manual mode to fine tune it... I didnt like how early the whites came on and how long they stayed on.. Its perfect now.

Cool. I also have them at around 10-12" awl and have it on caribbean mode as I acclimate the tank at the moment. I'll mess around with the settings once I get a bit more familiar with the remote. I just figured out that the remote had to be plugged in for the program to run.

Carribian mode is more like a timer, use the acclimation mode to do the dimming

I only have two of the four vegas connected at the moment. If I connect all four of my vegas together with ext rails, would two cables be enough to hang them if I connect the cables between units 1&2, 3&4?

Cables?

The hanging kit wire cables.

I looked it up just a sec ago. It says they will support up to six modules.

Just be REALLY careful with those whites, they're extremely powerful and I ended up bleaching a bunch of my corals. I've toned the whites down and everything is slowly starting to look much better.

I have my whites at 18% max, currently, but I have 2 vegas over a 50 gallon tank. Reds are at 15, greens are at 30, and blues are at 50.
