FYI: These orders take place about once a month, however I don't place them every month due to the cost associated with shipping and fees.

If there are any issues with the order, the worst case scenario is that the order is simply pushed back a week or two. Normally this only happens if weather is bad out of Bali or if there are not enough boxes ordered.

1st post updated with current list and prices. Start sending your orders in. First come first filled. We are looking at 2-3 weeks for turn around timeframe. When they have permits in and are ready to ship out I normally find out on the weekend and the order will close by Wed. This only takes place about once a month.

Hi JnD... the pictures I have provided are samples of the size and quality of the colonies that I get in when ordering from this region. The orders are done based on the list. These are maricultured corals that are propagated and grown in the wild but not taken from reefs when harvested. They are shipped from bali, they do not come in from a wholesaler's stock tank.

Hey Justin. I use the Bali Aquarium website. You get a good representation of the corals there. They are definitely minicolonies, not frags from my past experience.

Rob, are the prices related to size, or more related to color rarity/difficulty to grow? What are some of the faster growing and/or easier corals on that list?

Wow cool dude. The prices are more related to color and rarity. The sizes vary. Sometimes they are pretty big and other times smaller...but they value is always on ....just that when they are big it's a nice bonus :)

Loripes have always been large and hardy...the only one that really stands out to me as being difficult is the Abrotanoides. That one is always very thick but very hard to keep.

Hey Airborne. ...no dates at the moment....but when it happens it happens fast. Orders are filled in the order in which they are received. So if come fill time they only have 5 three color milleporas they will fill the clients that requested first....then if I have 4 of you with 3 color milles and they only send me 2 I will fill based on who put in for it first....and then offer alternates.

Does that make sense? When I do find out the ship date (which depends on when they get their cite permits to ship out), I will know on a weekend and then they will stop accepting orders on Wed. It will ship out of Bali on a Sat. arrive state side Sun for re bag and re - ox then ship cargo for arrival sun night or early Mon morning.

They typically offer 20-40 pieces of each coral once or twice a month.... but we are just one order of sometimes many others. Nice, i remember you saying you got the purple efflo. I cant wait till its a fragable size. The nausuta and delsawii look interesting.

Delsawii looks pretty nice, looks like a deep water SPS. Reminds me of Hawkins Echinata but with blue tips. The efflo is nice. The corals have nice coloration already right out of the bag. I inspected them early this morning and all have good polyp extension.

Thanks for sharing Francis... they look great!

We brought in over 50 pieces and lots of customers were able to pick up early. I did not dip any. I have found that a slow acclimation and placing them in a quarantine tank to work better, while giving me a chance to inspect every piece closely and treat as needed.

ZERO casualties so far and everyone's pieces were filled not having to use any alternates. *not always the case, but i have improved my handling process to help a lot*

Main pest i have found has been little hairy crabs which is easy to catch with tweezers or long medical type tweezers. So far i have seen 3 hairy crabs (tiny) but the bonus in not dipping first (as long as you have a stable temp tank set up) is i have managed to save over 8 acro crabs... the good ones which have ivory/white claws and no hair. Very fun to watch. Before placing in your tank I would recommend either fragging the colony at the base and of course dip if you have any rock still attached. Then put the rock back in the temp tank and see if the base takes off again.

Here's my temp tank below.... 2 friendly yellow tangs cleaning up your colonies from algae, LOTS of flow digital controlled heater, a UV and daily water changes with some light kalkwasser and some seeded sponges from other systems.

60g tall for quarantine of bali mari cultured corals. Acclimate to light slowly. This fixture is a simple T5actinic bulb and 10k bulb. As I cut my pieces off for growout and resell they go to heavy duty LED but i also acclimate to LED slowly as well.

The system is really nice, Rob. I really like how you are acclimating them with that T5 bulb.

My pieces came out pretty nice as well. I'll have to post some pics later. I'm really hoping I have some acro crabs for my colonies. I'm going to do a thorough inspection for those teddy bear crabs and check for any eggs and worms. From what I saw, everything looked pretty good so far.

They look good David. My green Efflo seems to be doing fine so far also.

Ill have to post my pics tomorrow but everything looks good so far. I have all of mine except the suharsonois in the tank so far out of qt. One of my little colonies is a little pale but its coloring up a little bit. All have some pe, but just a bit.

Did you keep them on the original rocks? I'm thinking about transferring mine over to the main system this week.

I pried them off the concrete rocks and epoxied them on my own and qt'd. I didnt want to risk carrying some pest in my system. Since i didn't bayer dip or coral rx, i wanted to get rid of as many variables as posssible. I lost my yellow suharsonoi the last go around. Im glad i didnt dip this time, both of my suharsonoi are doing well and i have two acro crabs!

Same results here... not dipping bali pieces in bauer anymore. Quarantine seems to be the best method of success for them. I also don't transfer the concrete bases over.
