Rules;

Individual must be a Charter Member or a Sponsor in good standing.

Meter can be checked out Friday thru Monday, and Tuesday thru Thursday

Pick up time is 5:30am to 4:30 on Friday or Tuesday

Drop off time is 5:30 am to 4:30pm Mondays and 5:30am to 4:30pm on Thursdays

Pick up and drop off will be at 5320 George Cooper Road. (1604 and Judson Road)

There is a Valero Station on the corner, George Cooper is the first street on the left (if you get to the red light you went too far). Drive into the gate and park under the second canopy call my direct number and I will bring you the meter.

When you take the meter your name will be placed here on MAAST along with everyone in order so to keep this thing semi-organized

If you do not drop it off as scheduled your name will be placed back on MAAST so the next person knows he/she will not be able to pick up as scheduled, plus everyone knows who has it.

There will be no handing off from Member to Member because it will get lost. If you want to help out another member you are more than welcome, you are still responsible to get it back per the schedule.

I will take the names in order as you post on this thread, plus email me. Also due to the Holidays the schedule may change and pick up and drop may be adjusted.

Common sense rules; do not pick it up and then go shopping leaving it in your car where it might get stolen. The Sensor is Water Proof the meter is not!

Please let’s keep this thing moving.

Just wanted to log in the thread as I know not many were at the meeting/ will read the minutes. At our May 21st swap we will be holding our first raffle of the year with prizes ranging from a tank tuneup kit, a shopping spree, an Apex, and a Zen reef frag tank. The proceeds for the raffle help fund maast meetings and the club equipment funds. Glad I borrowed it. After getting new lights, higher off the water, and a much larger tank...my par was significantly lower than I thought. Of course, I had the lights pretty low because I didn't want to fry anything. Cranked them up until I got the par I was looking for (so I had an endpoint), then back down so I can bring them up slowly. Will see how it works.

Yea, it was eye popping info. I thought for years that you need 400+. After watching the video, I lowered my lights and will need to borrow the meter again to verify that I'm at 250 plus and 500 at the water surface.

Troy has the meter till Monday the 22nd. And Justin since he is close by will will coordinate a sharing program to cut down on drive time. Ktipp is next and then twevans76 with Ktipp getting on Monday and hopefully a hand off to tweveans76 on Tuesday or Wednesday? Ktipp is in Converse and twevans76 is in UC and I drive through both towns to get home every night. I am going in order as I received the Par Meter forms also. Then you can bring it back to me when you are done. Pm Justin when you get a a chance and FWIW you borrowed the meter 2/7/17, so it has been a year and definitely time to check your lighting drop off or changes.
