Looking for a heater. Wanted to know what other reefers are using and experience with brands. JBJ was top on my list but I have been reading a lot of bad reviews. Any help. Tank size is 65 gallon.

Cobalt makes some great heaters that are pretty safe, they'd be the only heaters I'd ever use without a controller. Pretty much any heater plugged into a controller makes a great heater also

Got a Finnex HMO. It's digital and spot on. Had for about 8 months with no flaws yet.

I've had good luck with Rena and Fluval. I am currently replacing my Topfin heaters.

+4 Eheim Jäger. They're really good heaters and pretty cheap too. Check out the reviews for them.

JBJ True Temp Digital Controller w/ Heater - 800 Watt is what I am using. I like it because it has a remote sensor allowing you to have the sensor in your display and the heater in your sump keeping the tank temp true. I have had it up and running for 3 months so far with no issues.
