medicine to heal tangs wounds inside the reef tank

added a purple tang and both purple and kole had it out and looks like kole has some injuries

without pulling the kole, is there something thats proven to work to heal wounds in a reef tank lmk

the kole is my favorite and does a good job cleaning the tank

if i get the purple out no more battles may be looking to sale the tang

maybe get the kole in the 7ft tank and treat the tang that way away from the coral

I think some aloe products (maybe melafix) might work. Salt water makes everything heal faster. I have seen some serious wounds heal on their own. Maybe with UV to help fight infection. Just keep them eating well and often. Good luck.

Like Mike said, Feed well. When ours battle it out I just add a little garlic to their food. :) keeps em healthy & happy.

Looks like the purple tang and kole tang are doing better. Rearranged some LR and chased them around with the net and they seem to be eating seaweed together now. Wounds are healing since I posted.
All of the tangs are grazing off the LR now.
